Contoura Vision – Lasik with Topography guided custom ablations treatment (T-CAT)

Ultimate clarity in vision for patients with myopia, patients with combined nearsightedness and patients with astigmatism.

Contura Vision™ is the technology that has created a new benchmark in precision and accuracy.

The Topography guided vision correction Lasik, uses a highly advanced diagnostic technology – The Vario Topolyzer™ – which analyses and maps irregularities in the cornea as well as the refractive error of the entire eye.

This information of mapping and analysis of the patient’s eye is transferred to the laser which then determines and develops a pattern of treatment, based on the patient’s own corneal curvature, optics and vision correction prescription. Thereby creating a highly customized treatment plan.

This procedure has also shown reduction in post surgery symptoms like difficulty in driving at night, glare, light sensitivity, etc. which were associated with Lasik in the past.

FDA studies have shown that Topography-guided Lasik gave exceptionally good results. It is as an advancement of a procedure that was already considered outstanding.

US-based clinical trials of patients who had undergone Topography guided Lasik have shown:

  • 92.6% of the patients achieved either 20/20 vision or better

  • 64.8% of the patients achieved either 20/16 vision or better

  • 34.4% of the patients achieved either 20/12.5 vision or better in 13 months post surgery.

Patients who can opt for Contura Vision™ are individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Having less than 8 diopters of myopia.

  • Having less than 3 diopters of astigmatism.

  • Having less than 9 diopters of myopia and astigmatism combined

  • Are 18 years of age or older

  • Are having a stable prescription

  • Have healthy eyes
